Sony vegas 8- learning to edit video.
Plan: Go online to research and help determine which computer program I would like to learn about. Work with Sampath to record video at school and use vegas to edit the video.
Work done today: research to find which program I would like to learn more about. Found Sony Vegas 8 and looked at tutorials online. Later plan the storyboard for our commercial.

plan for the day: Create storyboard for commercial, find clips, and listen to vegas tutorials. Also research the top games for the wii.
commercial: Create a commercial for the Nintendo Wii game system. Use clips from acutal games as well as home videos of people playing popular wii games.
THE MAGICAL WII REMOTE:
- swing it and it turns into a baseball bat. ( hit a computerized baseball homerun?)
- swing again and wii and room turn into person with racket and ball on tennis court ( film on tennis court).
- slash it and it turns into a sword. ( slash enemies)
- hold one remote and wind the other turns into a fishing rod.
- bowl with it, turns into a bowling ball.
- hold one still and pull other back turns into bow and arrow.
- point towards ground and turns into hockey stick, then shoot a goal.
other person holds wii remote in front of hands and turns into goalie with gloves to save the goal.
- hold remotes in front of face and punch, the remotes turn into boxing gloves and room turns into IA wight room in front of the punching bag.
- lift weights slowly, and they turn into weights.
- swing it above your head, and it turns into a lasso. ( get cowboy had too )

Later, I watched tutorials on Sony Vegas by QSK on youtube. This took about 1-2 hours. Later my partner and I made a plan on where to meet and what needed to be done for the comemrcial.

Plan for today: add lines for actors to the commercial above.
(kid sitting in his room) " Dude Iam soo boredd! There's nothing to do!"
(magic genie) " Did you say bored? How can anyone be bored, when they can play with the magical remote?"
kid " Magic remote? What are you talking about?"
genie, " Why the magical wii remote ofcourse! It can become anything that you desire just move it in a certain way. Here ( conjures up a remote) Give it to the pitcher, and genie hits, then show homerun clip).
then show clips of genie with a zelda sword, kid with hockey sticks, and genie with the tennis rackets. And then mix in clips of corresponding video games.

Today my partner and I have to work on editing our video footage using Vegas. We also have to search for downloadable wii game clips from the internet and find music to incorporate into the commercial. AFter disussing we decided to add the original wii commercial music (http://youtube.com/watch?v=p5cPVP_llfo).
